Description

Denso North America is the largest global automotive supplier of advance technology system and components. This project involves testing of Honda head unit in-vehicle drive testing, bench and telemetric testing for the THRA Head Unit (HU) for Honda to validate functionality and performance of HU.

Responsibility

Ø       Lead test team for the feature and functional testing.

Ø       Testing features like AM, FM, SXM, navigation system, Bluetooth and Mobile app.

Ø       Drive test "on-car", for inspecting issues in the infotainment system for tuning, connectivity, navigation, speech and multimedia.

Ø       Opening and mapping new tasks and defects, for reporting issues of the HMI system to

            the infotainment system developers.

Ø       Updating, Flashing and Proxying of infotainment boards and installation on vehicles.

Ø       Test case plan, design and test strategy for Honda head unit.

Project Name # 1: VP4 Chrysler Head Unit (HU) Testing & Log Analysis

Description

Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America develops infotainment systems for automotive manufacturers Chrysler which entertain, inform and delight. This project involves domain testing for receiver and tuner, in-vehicle drive testing, bench testing for the VP4 Head Unit (HU) for Chrysler to validate functionality and performance of HU.

Responsibility

Ø       Lead the Receiver and Tuner domain test team for the feature testing.

Ø       Pre and post integration SW testing for the build promotion to main line build.

Ø       Testing features like AM, FM, DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and SDARS (Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service).

Ø       Test case plan and design for futures like Fuel Station, Movie theatre, sports, Favorites, traffic and weather for SDARS.

Ø       Several signal generators like MultiFM Modulator, R&S SFE Broadcast Tester, R&S SFE 100 Test Transmitter and  IZT S100 used for I/Q data, Sirius, XM, HD Radio, AM, FM, DAB/+, DVB-T and DRM/+.                        

Ø       Responsible for Initial log analysis for receiver and tuner and communicate with team.

Ø       Raise defects in Rational team concrete (RTC) test management tool and Re-verification on defects and issues.

Description

Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America develops infotainment systems for automotive manufacturers Daimler which entertain, inform and delight. This project involves field testing and bench testing for the NTG5 Star1 Head Unit (HU) for Daimler in different parts of the world to validate functionality and performance of HU in field and lab environment.

Responsibility

Ø       Lead the Initial Analysis team for log analysis and communicate with respective domains.

Ø       Testing features like Radio, Disc, Tel, Navi and sys.

Ø       Analysis of logs taken during field and lab testing, identifying defects, raising tickets and assign them to respective teams.

Ø       Responsible for providing technical support for test coordination, test failures, and test reports.

Ø       Handle responsibilities of RTC tickets, daily and weekly stability report preparation.

Description

Intel Mobile Communication (IMC) is developing LTE stack on the existing 2G/3G protocols stack for mobile chipsets. This project involves field testing for the UE 7260 platform and chipset in different parts of the world to validate functionality and performance of Platforms in field environment.

Responsibility

Ø       Perform field testing of multiple, multimode, multiRAT (2G, 3G, and 4G) UE platforms.

Ø       Analysis of logs taken during field testing, identifying defects, raising tickets and follow up with them.

Ø       Perform regression testing for UE 7260 platform.

Ø       Perform verification of protocol stack in accordance with 3GPP standards.

Ø       Preparation and analysis of the test reports.

Name: Cisco Nav UI Testing

Cisco is developing the Nav UI application for iOS, Android, PC and Mac for india and Norweign. This project involves testing the Nav UI application for different device and different OS like iOS (5.X & 6.X), windows (7& XP), Mac OS ( Lion 10.7 & Mountain Lion 10.8.4), etc for features EPG, VoD, Search, Catch up and Settings.

Responsibility

Ø       Perform sanity and regression testing on every build.

Ø       Feature and functionality testing like Live TV, Catch up, Search, Settings and VOD.

Ø       Lead the team for testing at client location and working with headend team for ingestion of data.

Ø       Preparation of test plan, test strategy and test cases for all the features.

Name: Cisco Embedded & Cable Card STB Testing

Description

CISCO Videoscape Voyager Vantage provides single tuner (4k), double tuner (8k) and mutli tuner (9k) set top box for Rogers, Canada market as well as Surewest. The project involves the testing of 8642HD, 4642HD, 8652HDC, 4652HDC, 9852HD and 9842HDC set top box and testing the complete system functionalities like System determination, PPV (Pay per View), DVR, VOD (Video on Demand), MR-DVR etcs.

Responsibility

Ø       Performing sanity and regression testing for 4642HD, 8642HD, 4652HDC, 8652HDC, 9852HD and 9842HDC.

Ø       Feature and functionality testing of STB like audio, video, EPG, User settings, VOD, PIP/POP, DVR, MR-DVR and PPV.

Ø       Configuring Seachange server and VOD client platform.

Ø       Flashing the STBs using DNCS and Build characterization for customers.

Ø       Performing stress and load testing using python scripts.

Name: Stealth V, Aegis and P4 Tablet Testing

Description

Samsung Telecommunication America (STA) provides 3G, 4G LTE dual band android (Froya and Ginger bread) Stealth V (i510), Aegis (i405) Smart phone and P4 tablet (i905) to Client Verizon. Samsung performs the field testing activities before lunch the device in the commercial market for Verizon. The project involves IOT and field testing of the dual band phones (Stealth V, Aegis and P4 Tablet) in Verizon live 3G& 4G network.

Responsibility

Ø       Perform regression testing and functional testing for the Stealth V (i510), Aegis (i405) and P4 (i905) tablet in live network.

Ø       Log collection by using ETS and XCAL tools and CP crash logs using RDX tool.

Ø       Report the Field testing issues to the analysis team and submit the logs.

Ø       Bug tracking using Clear Quest.

Ø       Flashing the Mobile Devices using Odin tools.

Name: Samsung Global System Integration Testing (SGSI)

Description

Samsung Provides a complete end-to-end total solution, Access Service network and Core Service network products. Samsung Mobile WiMAX has a very simple network configuration consisting of only ACR (Access Control Router) and RAS (Radio Access Controller). Samsung Global System Integration team (Solution Team) provides the solution to 3G technology as well as Mobile WiMAX technology for different operators. This project involves integrating the Samsung M-WiMAX system with 3rd parties vendor such as AAA, HA, DHCP and PC/DPI, developing the various test cases based on the business requirement for the Samsung and other operator.

Responsibility

Ø       Working on WiMAX network designing like subscriber forecast, Capacity Dimensioning for the operator, Traffic Estimation, Network Element Positioning and each circle wise RAS and ACR Calculation for operator.

Ø       Preparing the test cases based on functional requirement Samsung CPE i.e. Access Control Router (ACR).

Ø       Preparing the test case, test bed for any field issue and testing in the lab.

Ø       Testing the basic and functional test cases of Samsung RAS and ACR.

Ø       Checking the alarms and events by using the Samsung WSM.

Description

Motorola's CDMA is a reliable field proven platform that is offered in a low entry cost solution and for excellent cost of benefits. This project involves the regression, performance, load and stress testing for the network elements and their feature through Motorola Operation Support System.

Responsibility

Ø       Regression testing for various Network Elements likes BTS, CBSC (SDU, VPU, MM), MSC and OMCR.

Ø       Checking Event Report/Alarm and Performance Management statistics collection Reports through AEMS (Advance Element Management System) tool.

Ø       Executions of Targeted Regression Test cases with add, delete, lock, unlock, shutdown, reset procedure for the network elements on every build.

Ø       Performance testing of the different types of BTS i.e. SC4810, pico, UBS .

Ø       Weekly running the SFE (Simulated Field Environment) tool for checking the CDLs.

Ø       Weekly Load Build and Sanity Testing and lab upgrade to corresponding build through OMCR.
